Our community is everything. We work really hard to bring people together with shared interests and goals in playing video games. We have several things going on to help you find people to play with and make good friends along the way. We also try our hardest to listen to the community and find out what they want and need. If you have any suggestions, please contact us and we will do our best.
Discord is LDSGamer's main line of communication and interaction. User accounts are free and enable you to connect with hundreds of other LDS gamers in our community. Look for gaming groups, talk about your favorite games, participate in activities and give aways, and become friends with gamers that share your passion about mupliple topics and games.
We have dedicated servers just for members of the LDS Gamers community. Thise servers are also modderated to be clean so you can play knowing it will be family friendly all the time. Enjoy your play time, not fear what may come over from the other side.
One of the best things about being in a community, is playing together. That is why we constantly set up gaming nights and organized gaming events. This is a chance for you to play a specific game on a certain night with other LDS Gamers planning on playing the same. Get in there and play!
We often stream our games so people can watch and interact with us as a group. We play a vast amount of games including Destiny, Minecraft, Overwatch, Star Wars: Battlefront, Rocket League and more.
Jaxs has been a part of LDS Gamers for 3 years. In fact, he is the Streaming Coordinator for LDSG! He enjoys being a part of the community because he's able to share his love of video games with many different people across many different genres. He also enjoys being a part of the community to help people have a great time playing whichever games they choose!
Jaxs enjoys reading and building/making things when he isn't gaming, but when isn't he gaming? Current favorite games include Stick Fight The Game, Ultimate Chicken Horse (He loves Indie games), Destiny 1 and 2, Sea of Thieves, and a handful of visual novels that he just found.
One of his many talents include being totally tone deaf to his own voice, but having perfect pitch with instruments! He was a dedicated PC/Nintendo gamer until he was given a broken xbox 360 which he fixed up right before xbox one released, which he then purchased six months after release. To this day he still loves all things Zelda. The first game he ever beat was the original Legend of Zelda when he was only seven or eight (CJ wonders if this was with or without the help of a Nintendo Power magazine). He also collects Nintendo amiibos.
He's a father of two boys, and is married to @field_daisy who he's known for about 12 and a half years. They dated off and on ("I was an idiot, also I went on a mission") for 11, and have been married for 8. Jaxs and his family live in Eagle Mountain, UT.
